Hey guys,  just wanted to welcome you to my online blog!  I’m so excited to share my experiences, and various online money making methods!

Even if you are starting to make money on the internet, I believe that this blog will help you out tremendously!  There will be many updates to this blog within the near future, and I will be creating a discussion forum when the time comes right.  Stay updated, and hope to see more of you reading this blog!

A little about how I started online

I started making money on the internet while I was in school at BYU-Idaho, when I created my very first sales page.  I actually got the idea as I was searching on ebay for reseller products.  I finally found my reseller product, and thought to myself, “Hey, I could make money off this!”.  It was a product that has been already setup and created with it’s own salespage and everything.   I setup my own salespage, promoted it via SEO techniques that I knew about from reading a certain ebook, and posting links anywhere I could on the internet linking back to my salespage.

I came home from BYU-Idaho to take a little break from school.  When I started making real money on the internet, I was also working part time at a 9-5 night shift and doing my own thing part time on the internet.  I was earning more online than I was offline, and back in November 2008, I have decided to quit my job and work full time on the internet.  After my first huge affiliate payment back in December, I realized that this “internet marketing” thing could really work!  A few months later and a couple of affiliate networks later, I find myself with a nice steady income, a nice list of subscribers, and a private tight knit community.

One thing that I learned when marketing on the internet, is that internet marketing can be a roller coaster ride.  You can make 5 figures one month, and make barely 4 figures the next depending on what you were doing.  If you want to make a steady income, I would suggest building up your list.  By a list, I mean a list of people who are interested in what you have to offer.  You have to offer something of their interest, or ‘niche’.  A niche is an interest, or a need that you can fill.  You will need to fill a niche such as “internet marketing” or “making money online”, and offer a unique selling point to how you can help them.  When you have this, you can build upon your online business and ventures.  I will be talking more about niche marketing, and other various internet marketing strategies that you can use to make a steady income online, or offline.
